I had a cracked frame (same area)in my Victor. yes you could reapir with weld, but I sent ti to High Standard in Texas, USA. They replaced the frame.
I now have a very small crack in my other victor, righ rear side of the slide, NON critical area. I will have it welded and refinished
I like the victor, but they are old guns, and have many rounds thru them !

: I have had a High Standard Victor for about 30 years and have enjoyed using it in Standard Pistol competition. Sadly, it has developed cracks in the frame near the magazine well, impeding the movement of the slide -- in other words, it doesn't work!. Two questions:

: - Does anyone have ideas about getting this gun repaired?
: - If repairing it is not feasible, what could I replace it with, without spending a pile of money?

: Thanks!
