As a verifier I can try to help. I may not like the system and laws, but I am dedicated to education and all friends in the shooting sports.

We must clearly identify what you have and if it falls into a category that you can not import into Canada as a new import, and those you can.

If what you have is:

1. H&K USP Expert 9MM Luger, 132mm barrel, maximum 10 round magazines only. Restricted - import allowed.

2. Walther P99 9mm Luger, has more than one barrel available (102mm, 106, 108, 117), maximum 10 round magazines only. Models equal or less than 105mm are Prohibited and can not be imported. Models over 105, Restricted - import allowed.

A firearms declaration form at customs, $25, will allow the importation and possession of all importable firearms until you need to renew it or replace it with a Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL)and register the firearms (may be able to fully register on the phone at 1 800 731 4000).

Please contact me Vadasz if I can help more.
