quoted from a message by CDRT on the CMP web-site:

"It is shot just like other NMC matches ... ten rounds slow fire at 50 yards and then the timed and rapid matches are shot at 25 yards. There are few restrictions to the revolver used. It must have a minimum 2 and half pound trigger pull and meet the standards for a revolver in the NRA pistol rules.
The grips you mention should be legal. They don't have the restrictions like the revolvers used in the NRA Distinguished Revolver program. I shot the same pistol for both, so mine conformed to the DR program as far as the grips went.
You can send the NRA an email (to the pistol competitions division) on their website to make sure."

In previous years, the Alberta guys (CRPC?) seemed to be mixing the requirements of the Reeves match with those of the DR match - requiring 158 gr bullets for the Reeves when that was a restriction for the DR only. This year at CNPC, in the match bulletin, the bullet for the Reeves revolver match is idntified as 148 grs (HBWC?). That is still a restriction that is not a part of the (NRA) rules for the Reeves in the USA.
