I am frequent guest in Semiahmoo Game and Fish Club. They shoot pistols on wednesdays at 7pm. Too bad it is only once a week but at least it is something. If I am there I could walk you through basics, I am not very competitive these days but had some formal training in Moscow some 30 years ago. Olimpic style, real bullseye shooting. There are few more bullseye shooters at Semiahmoo who could do better job getting you on a right track but there is no coach or group who does target shooting on regular basis. Just a few individuals working on their own. Would be great to get a bunch of dedicated bullseye shooters and get some sort of informal matches going.

: Have you checked out the 'links' page at www.bctsa.bc.ca? There are a few clubs listed that are in your area. Also there is:
: Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club (604) 535-8366
: RR 6
: 1284 184 St
: Surrey, BC , V3S 9V2
: Perhaps someone at one of those clubs can help you.

: : I would like to learn and practice the 'how-to's' of pistol target shooting as a new hobby. Where do I go to learn? I live in the lower mainland (South Surrey/White Rock) area of BC.
