Thank You Pat.
: That's a whole bunch of questions. *s*
: Realistically, if your experience is being counted in the weeks, then you've got an air pistol that exceeds your ability. No offense meant but that gun won't hamper your progress. As such, use it as much as possible and you're going to get your moneysworth.
: As for info on the pistol, Pilkington Guns has some info (www.pilkguns.com/tenp/spfwbc5.htm). They're a very reputable dealer in the USA. If any problems come along, or if you want to send the gun in for a tune-up, then they are the folks to talk to.
: As for using this gun at WCs or the Olympics, maybe, but probably not. Feinwerkbau is an excellent manufacturer; but, a repeater tends to not have the same level of engineering as a single shot competition gun. Also, you would not be able to load more than one pellet in a precision (single shot) match. With some repeaters, that may become awkward.
: Personally, I think you have a good pistol to try out the sport. Everything you need to develop can be learned from that pistol. As always, if some extra cash comes your way, you can always buy something new or used, and that will be money well spent. At least in my pistol-hording world, buying more is good. *s*
: Good luck!
