who actually owns the firearms??? who are they registered to? Its not a problem if the owner actually travels with the firearm and follows the regs. But there are parents out there willing to live with an air pistol, but who draw the line at cartridge firarms.

your daugter was lucky enough to have a parent willng and able to provde cartridge firearms for her to use. others aren't so fortunate.

Has anyone done a survey of the parents of any of the juniors to see if they would be willng to further their childrens shooting careers by obtaining free pistol, sport pistols, etc.??
it would be interesting to find out the results of such a survey

I don't understand the problem you posed. My daughter shot live fire as a junior for a number of years....and traveled internationally.
: It was not a big problem then, and is still not a big problem now. Understanding the rules/laws in place, and working within them is actually fairly straight forward.
