: i have my PAL, and would like to take my gun on a hiking trip, not going to hunt, but to shoot some rounds.( the rifle is new, never been fired ) do i need a hunting lisense anyways ? what is the law about having a loaded/unloaded gun in the forest or a provincial park ?

loaded firearm in a provincial park is a not allowed, neither is an unloaded one. you probaly need to visit a gun club with a proper outdoor range ...that'll cure your itchy trigger finger
