Repairing a cracked frame is not worth a penny if you consider the cost and amount of work to restore the frame to its pre-crack dimensions. Also, the only way to repair the crack is by welding. Welding involves heat and the possibility of warping or deformation is relatively high. But also take into consideration the fact that these frames are heat treated. There is a chance that even the special welding procedures will not guarantee a clean and crack free repair. Refinishing will also be a problem. Likely, machining and grinding will also be involved. Plus another heat treatment process. It will be better to get a new or a good used frame. Or just keep the gun as a display non-working model.
