Yesterday, the Ontario Council of Shooters, through the Canadian Shooting Sports Association, announced its criteria for selection for the Quest for Gold funding. A total of eight Ontario cards will be issued to four rifle and four pistol shooters, divided equally between men and women. Among the eight cards, two have been allocated for athletes above 22 years of age, assuming that they meet Ministry of Health Promotion stipulated guidelines.
Selection will be based upon cumulative performance at the following two LSBA events: Dec. 9/10, 2006 and Jan. 13/14, 2007. Two scores must be recorded to be eligible.
Full details will be available from the CSSA website (http://www.cdnshootingsports.org/). I encourage everyone to participate and pass the news to other interested shooters.
Best regards and good shooting.
