University Games 2006
Call for Athletes and Coaches to participate in the 2006 University Championships in the Czech Republic.

Athletes– Will be based exclusively on your resume. You will be ranked based on the results you provide, with priority being given to those candidates who shot Nationals in 2005, International matches (any year), then provincial level matches in 2005 and 2006.
Coach and Manager – If you are interested in participating please forward a C.V. of your shooting experience, aspirations as a coach/manager and whether you would require financial support to attend the competition to blagroix at rogers dot com

Pilsen is the center of the West Bohemia region and has approx. 200 000 inhabitants. The city is situated about 85 km from Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, and lies in the central European climate zone.
The city is the industrial and cultural center, home of the University of Bohemia and home of the Medical Faculty of Prague's Charles University.
Pilsen has a long sporting tradition, there are many successful teams e.g. soccer, ice hockey, handball, squash, and 1st World University Shooting Championship 2003 with 24 participating countries.

Eligibility – Please refer to the attached Document. In the simplest terms if you attend CEGEP, College or University full time and are between 17-28 years old you will be able to attend. If you have graduated within the last year, you are also eligible.
Cost – The total estimated cost will range from $2500-3000 including flights, food accommodation, Admin. fees, spending money, uniform, transportation and travel insurance (medical - mandatory). This figure is to be used as a rough guide for budgetary purposes. The goal is to have the costs as low as possible.
.Accommodation and Restaurants
All competitors and officials will be accommodated in student hostels or hotel in Pilsen , transport to and from the site of competition will be provided.
Food will be served in the university cafeteria or in a restaurant on the site of the Shooting range.
